The University of Nairobi is committed to enhancing its regional presence through robust marketing activities, improving infrastructure of its Campuses and Centre to increase its appeal to students seeking top University education. In February the University participated in the Lake Basin Expo and Investment Summit a forum that accorded the University a platform to engage with the general public from Nyanza and Western region who desire to study and a premier institution. The forum also brought together stakeholders from different industries with the aim of opening up the region for investment on the key pillars of vision 2030. UON Kisumu Campus Director gave an address on issues the University presence in the region will address especially with the completion of the Kisumu Campus Complex. CESSP, UON Admissions and University of Nairobi Graduate School attended the expo with the main aim of creating awareness and recruiting students.
