Admission requirements

  1. Candidates must have attained the minimum University of Nairobi and School of Physical Sciences entry requirements. In addition, the prospective candidates must have attained a minimum grade of C+ in Physics or Physical Science and C+ in Mathematics at KCE level OR Credit 4 in both subjects at EACE level.
  2. Candidates who have taken the KNEC Diploma in Computer Studies or equivalent and obtained a pass with CREDIT will be EXEMPTED from some courses for the First and Second Years of study that are covered in the Diploma syllabi. The extent of such exemption will be governed by School of Physical Sciences Exemption Rules.
  3. Candidates who have passed Higher National Diploma in Computer Studies or equivalent will be EXEMPTED from some courses for the First and Second Years of study that are covered in their Diploma syllabi. The extent of such exemption will be governed by School of Pysical Sciences Exemption Rules.
